A Purple Adventure…
This past weekend is the first weekend in a long time that we haven’t had anything planned. I love those kind of weekends, but I also want to make sure that we at least get out and about a bit.
Therefore we woke up on Saturday and decided that we should go on an adventure.
Here is where we ended up….
This is Hitchin Lavender– a gorgeous farm with miles and miles of the purple flower. Mads loved exploring, running up and down the fields, and helping cut the lavender and putting it into her bag as you are allowed to cut one bag and take it home. And of course I loved the photo opportunities!
The lavender smells so beautiful, and we had a great time exploring. Mads was in her element although she was a little wary of the bees- of which there are hundreds!
It was a great morning out. I love impromptu family adventures- they are always the most fun!
I love that our girls are making us realise the most simple pleasures in life.
